What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. The processing of your personal data is always carried out in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

At the time you visit our Website, the following data is stored:

The data will likewise be stored in the log files of our system. This data will not be stored together with other personal data of the user.

Purpose of the data processing

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing. When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
The temporary storing of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable a delivery of the website to the computer of the user. For this purpose, the user’s IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.
The logfiles are stored in order to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data helps us optimise the website and ensure the security of our IT systems. The data is not analysed for marketing purposes in this context.
These purposes are also justified interests of ours in the data processing pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The legal basis of data processing for the purpose of sending you current press releases is your consent (acc. to Art 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR). By sending the form (click on the “Send” button), you consent to the data entered by you being processed for the specified purposes.

In the processing of personal data that is required for the fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing that is required to conduct pre-contractual measures.

Where processing of personal data is required for the fulfilment of a legal obligation imposed on our company, Art. 6 (1) lit. c) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

In the case that vital interests of the data subjects or another natural person necessitate the processing of personal data, Art. 6 (1) lit. d) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing serves to protect a justified interest of our company or of a third party and if the interests, civil rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the interest mentioned first, Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

Newsletter

By subscribing to an e-mail newsletter, you agree to pass on personal data to us through address forms for this specific purpose. Depending on the data supplied, Bulung Logistics may then contact you by telephone, letter and/or e-mail. In order to prevent the misuse of e-mail addresses, subscribers have to confirm their order for our newsletter in an automated process by e-mail (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe to our newsletters by clicking on the ”Unsubscribe” link included in every newsletter.

Unsubscribe option

Unsubscribing from the press release distribution list is effected through the “Unsubscribe Link” that is shown in each of our press releases. You may also declare your revocation by sending an e-mail to office@bulung.com. By revoking the consent, the lawfulness of the consent-based data processing effected until the revocation shall not be affected. If you revoke your consent, you will not receive any further press releases after your notification has been processed.

Third Parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, an advertising analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google“). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is generally transmitted to and saved on a server of Google in the USA.

Bulung Logistics GmbH will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.
In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
